Bedtime Biscuits : (Lavender & Chamomile) Dog Treats
Miss Valentine's Tasty Treats are all natural and gluten free, nutrient packed dog cookies, made with human grade ingredients with no artificial preservatives or artificial food coloring. Rosemary is used as a natural preservative as well as being dehydrated to give these cookies about a year shelf life. But if your dog is anything like ours you will be ordering more way before the year ends : )
We call this particular cookie "Bedtime Biscuits" or AKA "calming treats". We've been told by other dog parents that they swear by giving their dog our Bedtime Biscuits on 4th of July, thunderstorms or when they are taking their dog to the vet to calm them down with great results.
Ingredients include:
~ Brown Rice Flour - high in protein, fiber, gluten free, trace minerals - easy on dogs digestive tract causing less gas
and is good for allergy sensitive dogs.
~ Ground Lavender Flowers - promotes calmness, reduces stress and effects of separation anxiety
~ Ground Chamomile Flowers - soothing to digestive system, calming, muscle relaxing, anti-anxiety relief
~ Clover Honey - helps dogs with allergies, fights infections, and helps with digestive problems. vitamins A, B complex, C, D, E and K, plus minerals such as calcium, magnesium, and more.
~ Cage free eggs - good protein source, essential fatty acids
~ Canola Oil - omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids
~ Rosemary - natural preservative, anti-microbial, antioxidant
Bedtime Biscuits were created for our dog Miss Valentine as she, being a Jack Russell Terrier, was on the "energetic" side of things if you know what I mean. Even with walks and endless sessions of playing with her toys she still had more energy at the end of an evening than we did. Get this dog a glass of wine we said! and realizing we couldn't do that, started researching what kind of natural herbs, etc could we give her to calm her down a bit. We found the treats helped with separation anxiety as well. So if you're dog needs a bit of a relax or calm down please give our Bedtime Biscuits a try.
They are super cute too cut into crescent moon and star shapes like the evening sky. Of course since Miss Valentine was such an integral part of the research, baking and tasting process, she takes her trademark "bite in spirit" of every dog cookie that leaves our kitchen.
